This is a mind-altering, exciting, fast post-punk piece, rock'n'roll jewel by three local guys taking roads less taken and getting where no other band went before. But not so weird, that you might have difficulties getting into it.

It's very much strongly embedded in a good old rock'n'roll tradition.

You can hear Modern Lovers, '60s nuggets, Bowie even psychedelia in these grooves, but what really happens is that these dudes without any pretensions achieved something what many other more serious bands just strive for. Legend says that they were stoned out of mind recording this album, but it looks like drugs hit some special creative spots in heads of these people so it all came out perfect.

About this 7": At a time when most bands in Baton Rouge had to settle for recording a cassette demo, and few had the resources to self-release their music on vinyl, George Barr not only managed to make a 3-song vinyl EP of his band The Zoomers, he also produced a music video of two of the songs. “From the Planet Moon” was the "A" side (labeled "SIDE ONE"). The flip side contained “You’ll See,” which faded into an ambient coda called “Somatic.” The labeling “YOU’LL SEE / SOMATIC” led many to assume that was the title of one song, and it was mastered as a single track on the record, but “You’ll See” and “Somatic” were registered with BMI as separate compositions.
