Chansons des Perverts speaks the international language, kicking off right away with the explicit cocktail foreplay of Earl Wilson's "Come in My Mouth." However, from there on out it lets the grooves initiate the grinding, even if the titles are exciting.

Tracks like "Intersexual Overdrive" or "Tender 'N' Tasty" are largely instrumental electronica pieces, while "Night Trap" is an amplified latter-day cross between disco and '70s cop show theme - somewhat sexy, depending on the criminal mastermind's harem, but nothing you can't hear on the more inventive electronic comps.

Highlights include Crippled Groove Orchestra's fun, vaguely Latin-infused "Everybody Dam da Dam," the sexy shtick that starts Anubian Lights' "Mating Urge" -- "Wait a minute I gotta put something on baby..." - and a pair of vintage tracks in the center of the album, "Chase of Death" and "Sugar Cane."
