Multi-Love is the third studio album from Portland, Oregon based group, Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
Unknown Mortal Orchestra was started in 2010 by singer, songwriter, and guitarist Ruban Nielson. The band's first two releases titled, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and II were characterized by a kind of lo-fi, psychedelic pop/rock aesthetic. The songs were generally pretty punchy and catchy, but also had some pretty intricate songwriting, and instrumentation. On this new album Multi-Love, the band seems to ditch the lo-fi sound quality (barring a couple tracks) and instead gives us some more psychedelic pop music with a much groovier edge than previous efforts from the band.
