Cool record from the legendary Moore. I've always liked Thurston's lack of rock-star ego - heck, he invited your scribe for a beer at the Newry ferchrissakes - and willingness to do pretty much whatever the hell he wants, musically.

This is about as accessible as his music gets, and the combination of acoustic guitars, the occasional solo from fellow legend J. Mascis of Dinosaur Jr, and steady percussion from Steve Shelley really gels here.

The vibe is very laid-back, with just an occasional wail of feedback, albeit not the ear-splitting kind.
