TEENAGE FANCLUB - Man-Made LP
After a five year break the Fannies are back. On first listen Man-Made sounds a little bleak, as if it lacks spark. The production is crisp and clear but a little soft. But as one listens more and more, this album reveals that it may actually be the band`s best since Grand Prix (1995)...
The songs flows nicely in typical Fanclub style: wonderful arrangements, great playing, bittersweet lyrics and the knack for great melody. In short; this album needs a few listens to get into, but when it does you will be greatly rewarded. Highly recommended.
