Near perfect album of deconstructed song form effortlessly interpolating jazz, folk, blues, rock, krautrock and improv. Lyrically focusing on a certain kind of peculiarly English neo-Christian mysticism, the emotional peaks reached here are seldom bettered in the canon of song-based music.

Easier to listen to than Laughing Stock, or maybe we've just adopted to their style in the meantime. Partly wonderful melodies, evolving out of nowhere, filling the room for a short time, and disappearing into the void again.
