The Schizophonics have exploded out of San Diego, California, like a turbo-charged, raw force of true blue rock ‘n’ roll chaos. This power trio has been making a name for itself with electrifying live shows that combine the fuzz-soaked freakout of proto-punk pioneers like The Stooges and MC5 with the sweat and swagger of James Brown and Little Richard.

Taking Lety Beers’ distinctive RnB-inspired drumming and Sarah Linton’s Sabbath-infused bass lines providing the rock-solid foundation for frontman Pat Beers’ wild dancing and gravity-defying one-handed guitar playing, they unleash a fuzz-soaked, funk-fueled sonic attack built on pounding rhythms and feral energy that’s been honed to a razor edge after years of touring.

Their upcoming fourth album, Burning Floor, is their most ferocious collection of gritty rock and soul stompers yet! As their name implies, The Schizophonics blend elements of classic Motown with ’60s garage rock while also venturing into the realms of ‘70s punk and early heavy metal. With Burning Floor the band set out to capture the spontaneous excitement of their infamous live shows, and the result is an album that bottles up the high-octane fury and infectious energy that have become their trademark.
