After the longest hiatus of Saint Etienne's 30-year career (so far), they returned with Good Humor, an album quite unexpected in their discography, not that it isn't very Saint Etienne, but because it's also very Cardigans. Sarah, Bob and Pete ran off to Sweden to make this record with producer-of-the-moment Tore Johansson, the guiding force behind the 60's-referencing albums by the Swedish pop stars, and while this still writes like an Etienne album from a lyric and vocal point of view, the music is very similar to an album like Cardigans' First Band on the Moon.
