Hopes were high as soon as we heard the first single, “Observations”. Maybe such a piano track was somewhat unexpected, but the typical, “weeping” guitar and the atmosphere of a quiet, grey, rainy afternoon leave no doubts to who the author is. Distorted but melodic tunes combined with an amazing harmony of the voices of Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo. A sound out of a different époque, with the 50-60s’ simplicity and lyrics of love and heartbreaks (which somehow manage to avoid sounding like a cliché). Finally – the distinctive, characteristic sound and unique atmosphere. The band provides us with a lot of sweetly served melancholy.
