OFFSPRING - Smash LP

Smash is one of four albums from and popularising the Calipunk realm in 1994 (the other 3 being Dookie, Stranger Than Fiction, Punk in Drublic). These would soon be joined by ...And Out Come the Wolves the following year.

On the surface, The Offspring seem like your average Pop Punk band (perhaps because of their later albums). Looking at their music though it seems that these guys are rather an outlier. Not as pop as Blink-182, not as hardcore as NOFX, not as punk as Bad Religion or Rancid. What you're left with is 13 songs to belt at the top of your voice. See, The Offspring's songs get stuck in your head very, very easily.
