Pink Moon is one of the most lonely, desolate, emotional and starkly beautiful albums you'll ever hear. It's so stripped down, so raw, so powerful.
Nick Drake's other albums are great, but they're very different from this one. They have more of a chamber folk sound, a more expansive sound, but this is by far his best.
It's just him, his voice, an acoustic guitar, and a sprinkling of piano on the title track, and that's all there is to it.
