Strong and abrasive album confirms N.S are a punk rock band with an emphasis on guitar-chugging primal rock 'n roll. Rebecca's bellowing vocals sound confident and there is some sarcastic humour in her vitriol. Sounds "live" and more like their early 7" than their prior, darker, post-punk leaning album. ‘Nose Picker’ is the indubitably fun record people have been saying it is. It gnarls and bounces in equal measure, creating some sorta middle-ground between an abrasive noise rock record and a Parquet Courts guitar jumble.
