Undoubtedly Mudhoney's best work, aside from maybe Superfuzz Bigmuff. From start to finish, this LP just flat out rocks.
Sarcasm has always played a big role in Mark Arm's lyrics and singing style, but on tracks like "Generation Spokesmodel", "Today is a Good Day", and "F.D.K." he sounds particularly fierce.
Few rock songs written have ever spat as much venom at a single person as "Into Yer Shtik" does at Courtney Love (along with other members of the Seattle hype machine).
