MOTORHEAD - Bomber LP
$39.95
Highly recommended.
Bomber is pretty much the equivalent of Overkill. It's another ridiculously heavy record for 1979, once again taking the bluesy rock of the debut and expanding on it with increasing speed and power. Bomber is certainly explosive, from the very beginning of "Dead Men Tell No Tales", a dark and forceful anthem that remains one of their heaviest songs. And it doesn't stop there, with classic speeders like "Stone Dead Forever", "Sweet Revenge", "Poison", the preliminary "All The Aces" & of course the brilliant title track. Part of the Motorhead trilogy of early classics, Bomber is an absolutely essential record for fans of '70s metal, or heavy music in general, and like Overkill & the s/t, remains one of the bands all-time best. Absolute classic.
