Bitches Brew is a jazz standard living outside of jazz standards, believed to be one of the best ever made. Miles Davis originally recorded the record of long jazz fusion tracks in 1970; here, the original master tapes have been used to reissue the music as a double LP. Bitches Brew is recommended for fans of improvisation and weird compositional stories (Davis "arranged his band in a semi-circle" and conducted them vaguely - sounds like he might have heard Trout Mask Replica once or twice). Perhaps the most experimental of Davis' works.
