This painfully underrated record is up there with The Stone Roses - there were very few bands round and about doing this in the early 90's. Granted, The Stone Roses did it better, incorporating elements of trance and other genres. But this is great for different reasons - so incredibly pure. Each track makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end, each track brings back a particularly fond memory. "Timeless Melody" is precisely that - the aptly named track is fresh on the first, second, twentieth and fiftieth listen. "Looking Glass" follows suit. The first five tracks rival any beginning to any album ever.
