A little whacked and daydreamy, yet always entertaining. It's moodier than a lot of electronic releases, gives off an anxious/disturbed vibe every now and then.

Even at the best of times, the music's unsettling and you have to wonder what's in store. The pop approach works well here, but Hot Chip doesn't come across as artists trying to make pop music. They seem to be best at creating those goofy little musical coincidences that separate the good electonic musicians from the average ones.
