Bands like the Gories don't really exist anymore, anyone that tries to do this becomes too caught up in themselves to just play straightforward rock n roll with a little shot of mojo. It's really too bad since playing this music requires very little skill, just a big hunk of energy and and a sexual overdrive. One of the best garage punk records ever released!
