An important album for the group as it hints to the changes that take full effect on Red Medicine. But the real reason to not skip this album is the explosion of energy that is Guy Picciotto. Finally he shows off his true potential and goes all out with energy that hasn't shown up since his Rites of Spring days. Every track on here he absolutely nails it and his songwriting craft is finally perfected. With this album Picciotto hijacks the band from MacKaye; no longer the hypeman, he's the main event.
