Highly recommended.
What a fun little record. What can only be described as a group of funny (in the comical sense) blokes shouting to some punky noisy music. The tracks don't last too long, but what you do hear is a weird and wonderful collection of occasionally immature humour paired with a passion for social justice. Seriously, they shout about English nationalism and post-colonialism all the way through to environmentalism and animal rights.
Track six is a particular favourite. Good luck working out what it's about though.
Moody Balloon Baby is, essentially, another pseudo-protest record from Dog Chocolate, but it's quite hard to work out what they're actually protesting. Is it perhaps ideological differences with our centre-right Conservative-led confidence and supply government with the Democratic Unionist Party of Northern Ireland? Or maybe an outright rejection of our Monarchist Head of State and our ever-growing reconnection to our imperialist roots? Or is it just that they like shouting about stuff that annoys them?
