Vital document of one of the first bands to put serious cracks in rock's glass ceiling!

Cradle were a band from Detroit, Michigan that started out as The Pleasure Seekers... a 1960s-era, all-female garage rock band. With Cradle, the band changed direction musically and were later known due in large part to the prominence of band member Suzi Quatro. The Quatro Sisters rock their raw, driving energy.

Cradle - The History is their original songs LIVE from Detroit Rock City, capturing mood and essence of classic 70's rock era. Tracks 1 to 10 recorded live from Grande Ballroom, Detroit Rock City on New Years Eve 1970, and tracks 11 & 12 recorded live from Easttown Ballroom in Detroit.

"Very well put together release of a very intriguing band. It's quickly becoming my favorite RSD grab this year. I guess it's a live album? If it is, you would only be able to tell by the "introduction" and release notes, but I guess that's a testament to band skills. There's a lot to appreciate here. The sturdy gatefold (with OBI strip) houses two very pretty dark purple 45's that sound fantastic and inside Cradle's History is, well, the history of Cradle which makes for a brief interesting read."
