CHELSEA WOLFE - The Dark LP (colour vinyl)

Limited edition dark green colour vinyl. Black wax and CD also available.

A taut, approachable set that leans more on her neofolk and goth styles more than any apparent metal sensibilities (except "Turn the Key"). She's still just as haunting as ever in her execution, but these songs are also more boldly personal, supplying glimmers of optimism with topics like transformation, overcoming mental health issues and letting go of toxic influences to name a few. This album falls right in line with her discography while also serving as evidence that her songwriting skills continue to mature and progress. The mixture of synths, atmospheric moments, and guitars is seamless, giving this music a sort of dark grace that is very alluring.
