CHARLES ALBRIGHT - I'm On Drugs 7"

You may have noticed yesterday that we're back into website entries (those CINDY LEE albums are essential...) and we thank you for hanging in there with us as we continue setting up our new store at 168 Lygon Street, Brunswick East.

One-man-band punk and a mesmerising caveman bleat. This thing pounds. Some reviews call it "lo-fi", but the drums on this record explode like no recent "hi-fi" recording I've heard so fudge that "lo-fi" label.

Originally self-released in some ridiculous pressing of 100 or something, S-S Records reissued it with different cover art and its one-sided configuration intact (the same three songs are pressed on both sides). Charles Albright is also in Matt K. Shrugg's band The Pizzas.
