Billy returns with a corker, it may well be one of his finest records.
The sound is lovely and welcoming, lots of acoustic instrumentation with Bragg mostly singing in his soft, American vocals. What really impressed me was the knowledge of just how hard it is to write songs about depression and isolation but he really captures it precisely here several times in language we can all understand.
