Truly one of the best albums of 2016. Catchy, both melodically and rhythmically hypnotizing. Fantastically produced, conceptual, lyrically intriguing and putting forth social issues and discussing barriers.
Andy Shauf's unique vocal expression brings extra spice into the already wonderful mix of a brilliantly cut album.
A concept album about - well the name of the album says it all.
70s Soft Rock and AOR tropes a-go-go. Acoustic guitar driven songs, luscious bass lines, topped off with fabulously lush piano/rhodes piano and where required horns and string arrangements. There are hints of weirder influences as well - particularly Grandaddy.
