Its without any doubt the best thing NEU! ever recorded. Haunting and utterly exhilarating. How this duo manage to get this much mileage out of such simplistic arrangements is the vital (and elusive) ingredient in the recipe because I've heard others try to replicate this sort of thing many times but never quite capture the addictively hypnotic aspect of this album.
