The darkest Gang of Four record by far. Right from the get-go there's an added layer of angst that can be traced to their alienation from their own political philosophy. Basically it's the baby steps of the most bile-drenched pop geniuses ever to boast red somehow failing to sell out. A tragedy that ridiculously enough pulls the strings of my music-nerd heart in the heaviest of ways.
