It's nothing new to say that it's expected for him to go totally bananas when it comes to the production and his deep comedic voice. However, Callinan takes this opportunity to tone it down with the weirdness and bangers of last record (Bravado) and give something more tasteful in instrumentation, vocal harmonies and lyrics. He did an outstanding work at curatorship with the choice of these tracks, as separate as they are he makes them feel like they belong to his eccentric persona and somewhat give more layers to what's rightdown human in Callinan. Heartbreaks, public perception, loneliness and hope make up for a story that makes you laugh with him, it's affecting and so damn enjoyable.
