GOD - My Pal 7" (original pressing)

It's Richie's birthday today and to celebrate, he has added another couple hundred titles to the websites FLASH SALE collection. Think of any purchase as buying him a beer tonight. The bonus being you add some quality records to your collection! At these prices, stock is very limited.

Sure, you've seen every store around the country spruiking the orange or the blue reissue of the Australian classic, "My Pal"... here's an original, rarely-sighted orange sleeve with the "God Army" address. The number at Stanhope Grove has been blacked out.

This copy has been stored and not played in 30+ years. The image provided is the actual sleeve and is in quite nice condition, with the slight, white discolouration as well as some fading of the text GOD. You can see this in the image. There's a minor crease at one corner.

The record itself appears unplayed, with one surface scratch through the first half of My Pal. This did not affect play except for a single "pop" after the first verse ends and the unmistakeable riff resumes.

""The very first pressing of the single would have only been 500 I assume," he says. "That was with an orange cover and I think it had Joel's parents address on the back. They didn't like that so I think we had to texta it out on every single one of them. Then on the represses we removed it."
