Dense layers of acoustic and electric guitars seemingly playing separate songs combine at times to make a perfect alt.-rock cacophony, or a wall of harmony as they put it with the late frontman Williams Arthur's earnest crooning the icing on top.
The lyrics are wistful and even wryly profane at times. It's shoegaze in spirit but it's more in the acoustic power pop sense.
