OASIS - Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants LP

Standing on the Shoulder of Giants has been unfairly criticised by many in the past, and while one has to accept that it doesn't quite have the impact of earlier material, the album is a highly enjoyable listen in its own right.

The record doesn't have much of a ''in your face'' feel to it, but in many ways this isn't a negative and the more laid back approach comes as a nice change of pace, and unsurprisingly the handful of slower tracks highlight the set.

The likes of "Little James", "Sunday Morning Call" and the excellent closing "Roll It Over" are all worthy of Oasis's best and even if the album doesn't come with the notoriety it comes highly recommended for all fans of Brit rock without a doubt
