LIFE STINKS - s/t LP

Highest recommendation.

About a month ago it dawned on Strangeworld that we hadn't stocked Bay Area punks LIFE STINKS in some years and so we placed an order. Only a few days later, our social media feed was filled with glowing tributes to guitarist Chad Kawamura who had sadly died. Our hearts go out to the many we know that lost a comrade who by all accounts was one great guy.

Never met Chad or got to see him perform but his work in LIFE STINKS and SPIRAL DUB thrilled us for many years. Plenty of Strangeworld regulars picked up the Spiral Dub LP and we continue to give it a regular spin. We listed it among our favourite LPs of 2023.

It was surprising to see we've never had LIFE STINKS in our website until now but we hope a bunch of new listeners will thrill to their nihilistic Flipper / Crime meets the groove of Velevet Underground and the Stooges.
