Turn 21 is simply a fun party album like all their others. Here they remind me frequently of The Muffs, a band whom they'd previously cited as an early influence. But definitely more AC/DC than Ramones. You can tell guitarist Allison Robertson studied at the school of Angus Young riffage as diligently as Luke Skywalker worked at becoming a Jedi. Loud, raucous, yet always tuneful. And a Judas Priest cover? Cool.
