Cherubs are one of the greatest, yet unheralded, noise-rock / post-hardcore bands of the past 40 years. We love 'em and were ecstatic to recently receive copies of their 1994 masterpiece, 'Heroin Man'. We still have some copies.
'2 Ynfynyty' joins the hallowed and few ranks of bands who went away for a decade plus and came back as good or better as they ever were before. There's probably more but all I can think of right now is Send by Wire and On off On by Mission of Burma. That's rarefied air.
Time to put your Melvins albums to the side and try Cherubs. We've been listening to them for about 35 years - they must be doing something right.
