Denver-based five-piece The Fluid are one of the great overlooked bands of America’s underground rock scene of the eighties and nineties.
Released in 1986, their debut album Punch N Judy was an accurate reflection of their scorching live shows that energetically processed messy Stooges-esque garage rock and took them in funky, groove-influenced directions. Touring for the best part of two years in support of it, this is the cornerstone of their legacy.
