"Open Up Your Mind" is the invitation in the intro, and that should make it clear where Häxxan is headed. This band plays psychedelic garage rock with powerful guitars and a pinch of protopunk. Jay Reatard, Ty Segall and Thee Oh Sees quickly spring to mind as comparisons. The trio appropriately shared the stage with the latter noisemakers.
The second album by the band offers catchy melodies and brilliant fuzz escapades among the eight tracks.
