Hee-Haw is a compilation of this seminal and highly influential Australian post-punk band's early material.
Five of the tracks come from 1979's 'Hee-Haw' EP (released under The Boys Next Door moniker), and the remaining eight are from 1980's self titled album, at the time when they changed their name. ('The Red Clock' and 'The Hair Shirt' featured on both releases.)
These tracks see the band transitioning between the pop-punk / new wave sounds of 'Door, Door' and the dark and chaotic post-punk that would become their signature sound as The Birthday Party.
